Jean-Philippe Nuel,
Bark
The collaboration between Jean Philippe Nuel and Édition 1.6.9 began with the design of the rooms and suites at the Lancaster Hotel in Paris, but is now based on the concept of biophilia, in which the presence of nature, or any other decorative element that evokes it, contributes to well-being. The Jean Philippe Nuel studio thus imagined the Écorce collection, inspired directly by the uneven relief of tree skin. The pattern, already evocative to the naked eye thanks to a play of colors, is emphasized by the contrast of the materials - New Zealand wool and Tencel velvet - used in the weaving. A tribute to nature, this manifesto also embodies the full creative scope of the editor's technical know-how...
